Job summary

Saputo, a leading US dairy processor, seeks a production supervisor to lead assigned staff, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with plant management to meet production schedules.

You will train staff, enforce GMP and quality policies, complete records, and drive continuous improvement while working weekends as needed; compensation range is $70,000–$80,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and detail orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor work of supervised staff to maximize productivity in the plant.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with guidelines are followed.
• Inspect products for conformance to specifications and adjust machines as needed.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for runs.
• Train employees on job and safety protocols; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain records and prepare reports; support continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate inter-department activities.
• Support policy adherence and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR.
