Saputo is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to directly oversee production employees, coordinate schedules, and enforce GMP and safety standards. You will work with plant management to optimize output and maintain accurate ERP records.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food packaging, strong communication, and the ability to lead a diverse team across shifts. Flexibility for weekend hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience leading safety and security policies and procedures.
• Proficient with ERP solutions; SAP preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of production employees to maximize productivity.
• Plan, assign, and direct work and address issues on assigned shifts.
• Coordinate production schedules, changeovers, and packaging codes to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain production records, reports, and cleaning/sanitation lists.
• Train and develop staff; enforce company policies and safety programs.
• Analyze root causes using CI methods and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet performance objectives.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and ERP data entry for production results.
