Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant manufacturing operations and coordinate multiple departments.

You will develop production schedules, forecast inventory needs, and work with other areas to meet cost, profit and productivity targets. The role requires overseeing staff, ensuring training, maintaining asset integrity, and driving continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a production supervisor or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Preferred familiarity with UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long and short-range plans and goals.
• Ensure plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded.
• Staffs operations to meet production levels and cost objectives.
• Ensures employees are properly trained and supervised.
• Coaches and develops subordinates and initiates corrective action when needed.
• Monitors efficiency, quality standards, and performance reviews.
• Manages inventory and ensures rotation per policy.
• Oversees maintenance of machinery and safety practices.
