Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee a plant’s manufacturing operations, develop production schedules, and coordinate activities to meet cost and productivity goals. The role includes staff supervision, training, and ensuring safety and compliance across all operations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience as a production supervisor or equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long and short-range business plans and goals.
• Develops production schedules and forecasts inventory requirements.
• Staffs assigned operations to meet production levels and cost objectives.
• Supervises and coaches staff; conducts performance reviews as required.
• Ensures machine and yard area compliance with company standards and safety policies.
• Monitors efficiency, yields and scrap to optimize resource use.
