Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and coordinate multiple departments. You will develop production schedules, align with cost objectives, and forecast inventory needs.

The role requires leading supervisors, coaching staff, and optimizing efficiency while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. A bachelor’s degree and minimum two years’ supervision experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in relating discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long- and short-range business plans and goals.
• Ensure plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded.
• Staffs operations to meet production levels and cost objectives.
• Ensures employees are properly trained and supervises activities.
• Coaches and develops subordinates and evaluates performance.
• Establishes work center operation efficiency standards.
• Monitors performance to efficiency and quality standards.
