Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a multi-shift team, coordinate daily targets, and ensure high quality products are produced on schedule.

You will guide Supervisors, champion safety and ergonomics, uphold USDA compliance, and drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency and plant performance. Travel up to 10% is required, relocation package may be available, and you will report to Plant Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years' relevant experience.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring staff.
• Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily yields, efficiencies and profitability while managing staffing and production schedules.
• Champion safety and ergonomics through training and program implementation.
• Uphold sanitation, product quality and customer service standards to ensure USDA compliance.
• Lead line meetings and continuous-improvement initiatives to boost team performance and plant efficiency.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance on the production floor to maintain motivation and alignment.
