Smithfield Foods in Georgia seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a dynamic, multi-shift production team, coordinating Supervisors to meet daily targets and deliver high-quality products on schedule.

You will drive efficiency, safety, and compliance with USDA and company standards, train staff, plan capacity, and foster a resilient, productive environment that supports sustained plant growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching or mentoring to less experienced staff or through managing a process or project.
• Experience using time-keeping systems, SAP, and Microsoft Office to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Efficiency & Profitability: monitor yields, efficiencies, and profitability; manage staffing and production schedules to meet customer needs.
• Champion Safety & Ergonomics: develop and implement safety programs; train employees on safe work practices; identify hazards and address ergonomic concerns.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance: uphold sanitation, product quality, and customer service standards; ensure compliance with USDA and company regulations; conduct line meetings.
• Lead Training & Continuous Improvement: train supervisors and employees on policies; conduct line meetings; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leadership & Guidance: provide strong leadership on the production floor; keep teams motivated, aligned, and productive.
