Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to guide a multi-shift team in a high‑volume meat processing plant in the United States. You will oversee Production Supervisors, plan staffing and schedules, and drive yields, quality, and on‑time delivery while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

You will mentor staff, interpret plant policies, and pursue continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and plant performance in a dynamic production setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience leading production teams or supervising a shift.
• Experience using SAP and MS Office to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily/weekly yields, efficiencies, and profitability; adjust staffing and schedules as needed.
• Develop and implement safety and ergonomic programs; train employees on safe practices.
• Uphold sanitation, quality, and USDA/regulatory compliance; lead line meetings.
• Lead training for supervisors and staff; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
