Job summary

Bento Sushi is seeking a Production Manager in Lincoln, RI to oversee all production operations, drive quality and efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to food safety standards. You will lead the supervisory team, manage labor, and partner with Health & Safety to foster a safety-first culture.

The role requires experience in a food manufacturing setting, strong leadership, and a track record of improving performance using Lean principles.

Qualifications

• Leadership to manage a food processing facility.
• Lean manufacturing principles to optimize operations.
• Knowledge of Food Safety standards and HACCP.
• Ability to motivate and direct a team in a food plant.
• MS Office proficiency for reporting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Direct management of the production supervisory team and shift coverage.
• Schedule labor for permanent and temporary staff and sanitation teams.
• Enforce Bento QA and food safety programs consistently.
• Provide KPI data and develop improvement plans for the Plant Manager.
• Maintain safety culture with Health & Safety partners and regulators.
• Coordinate equipment and automation investments with ROI justifications.
• Monitor daily floor operations and inventory accuracy in ERP.
• Create training plans for new production teammates and launch readiness.
