Bento Sushi in Lincoln, Rhode Island, invites an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee cleaning in our Ready-to-Eat facility. The role leads sanitation staff, ensuring GMP/HACCP adherence and safe chemical handling, with strong record-keeping and collaboration with QA, Maintenance, and Production.

Expect a 3:00 pm–11:00 pm schedule, weekend/holiday availability, and the chance to drive continuous sanitation improvements in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or food science background preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Supervise and coordinate daily sanitation operations for RTE processing and packaging areas.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, allergen control, and environmental monitoring programs.
• Verify proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, utensils, conveyors, drains, walls, floors, and production lines.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and production areas are ready for startup.
• Monitor chemical usage, concentrations, and safe handling procedures.
• Train sanitation employees on Cleaning procedures, PPE, chemical safety, LOTO, GMPs and hygiene practices.
• Maintain sanitation records, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and Production to ensure sanitation effectiveness and schedules.
• Ensure OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Investigate sanitation deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor sanitation KPIs including ATP results, environmental swabs, audits, downtime.
• Assist during third-party, customer, USDA/FDA, and internal audits.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of sanitation chemicals and tools.
• Enforce attendance, discipline, and performance expectations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to sanitation efficiency.
