Job summary

Bento's Rhode Island Food Factory in Lincoln is seeking a Food Production Team Leader to support the Production Supervisor and Manager in ensuring smooth factory operations. You will oversee daily tasks, monitor ingredients, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work various shifts, the ability to work in refrigerated conditions, lift up to 23 kg, and lead a small team while upholding safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Able to work in refrigerated, cold climate (10°C working climate, 4°C for walk in refrigerator and -18°C for walk in freezer).
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) where required and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work various shifts and weekends; ability to lead and direct a team.
• Basic computer knowledge and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food supplies and calculate ingredients needed from the fridge and conduct daily production record.
• Assign duties to production teammates.
• Ensure the production areas are cleaned and ready for use at all time.
• Check food quality according to Bento’s standards.
• Take corrective records according to product’s quality.
• Coach teammates on operating standards including food safety and quality control.
