Job summary

Bento Inc. in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Food Processing Maintenance Supervisor to lead hands-on maintenance and optimize equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will develop preventive maintenance programs, drive process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and quality. A bachelor's degree is preferred and 5+ years in engineering/maintenance in food manufacturing are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years engineering and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of food safety standards in chilled environments.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma process improvement experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues to ensure production continuity.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and food safety standards.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with engineering projects and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
