Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Plant Operator to run plant and system operations safely and reliably. You will monitor conditions, respond to alarms, diagnose issues, and take corrective actions to protect people and production.

The role requires 5+ years of industrial operations experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work a rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of plant, production, or industrial operations experience.
• Ability to interpret gauges, readings, and control system data.
• Self-starter with good judgment and independent work style.
• Ability to recognize abnormal conditions and respond under time pressure.
• Basic computer skills to enter readings and document shift activity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented.
• Able to rotate shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced operating tasks across plant and system operations with strong technical judgment.
• Monitor plant conditions and equipment, respond to alarms and take corrective measures.
• Diagnose abnormal conditions and protect personnel, equipment, and production.
• Support troubleshooting during performance issues and guide operational response.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, environmental requirements, and safety standards; escalate deviations.
• Document conditions, actions taken, and shift activity during rounds.
• Communicate plant status and outstanding work during handover to site leadership.
• Participate in safety programs, meetings, and hazard identification.
• Follow safety policies including LOTO and permit-to-work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
