Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Plant Operator to manage the operation of compressors, pumps, and related gas processing equipment at our Orla, TX facilities. The role requires engagement with process controls, safety programs, and regular monitoring of system parameters to ensure reliable operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and monitor plant equipment safely.
• Experience or ability to learn SCADA systems and process controls.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license in state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment including compressors, pumps, valves, and related systems.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective action to maintain safe, compliant operations.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates and other process parameters to meet specifications.
• Coordinate with control centers and other teams as required.
