Job summary

DT Midstream seeks a Field Operator to manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of our natural gas facilities, including storage and transmission components. You will monitor gauges, start and stop equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations as part of a rotating shift.

The role requires you to follow safety procedures, interact with field crews, and contribute to continuous improvement of pipeline reliability and environmental health. Training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in natural gas processing, compression and/or pipeline preferred, but will train as necessary.
• Ability to become a fully qualified employee per the expectations of the natural gas facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate natural gas pipeline equipment including compressors, dehydrators, valves and pumps.
• Start-up/shutdown of equipment and adjustment of controls.
• Inspect equipment and controls for malfunctions and reliability.
• Monitor readings and record pressures, temperatures and fuel usage.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace components as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor and crews on improvements for efficiency and safety.
