Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, seeks a Supervisor to support day-to-day plant operations at our Florida facility. You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate safety, quality, and productivity, and help manage costs, housekeeping, and testing protocols.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. You will lead maintenance coordination and ensure safety adherence and reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to plan and direct the work of others.
• Ability to perform, analyze and interpret laboratory tests for operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent in managing operation details and oversee plant in Superintendent's absence.
• Enforce safety program and lead by example in safe operations.
• Coordinate daily plant operational issues and report to the Superintendent.
• Identify and resolve plant issues to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with internal and external resources.
• Support sampling, testing, and reporting processes.
• Maintain positive customer relations and adhere to contracts.
• Oversee contracted work on plant components and ensure timely completion.
