Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Florida facility. You will assist the Superintendent in coordinating safety, quality, and production, ensuring equipment uptime and efficient performance.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to manage maintenance scheduling and reporting while maintaining strong customer relations and adherence to contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to plan and direct the work of others.
• Strong safety awareness and leadership under a safety program.
• Experience in interpreting laboratory tests or process data for operational adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing operation detail and oversee the facility in their absence.
• Lead safety program and act as a safety role model.
• Manage daily plant operations issues and inform the Superintendent.
• Identify and resolve plant issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with internal and external resources.
• Provide personnel and resources to maintenance technicians.
• Ensure proper sampling, testing protocols and reporting.
• Maintain positive customer relations and contract adherence.
• Oversee contracted work on plant components.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality and scheduling flexibility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
