Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an Operations Superintendent to oversee safe and efficient facility operations under the direction of the Operations/Plant Manager. Responsibilities include directing staff, enforcing safety/compliance, training, and developing operational strategies to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 5+ years of supervisory experience in power/industrial settings, and relevant licenses (ASME QRO provisional; MA 2nd

Qualifications

• Five years of Supervisor experience in power plant or manufacturing
• Knowledge and understanding of the operation, maintenance and control of a steam generating power plant
• Maintains all licenses as required by local, state, federal, environmental and/or health/safety regulatory agencies
• Skills, experience, and knowledge enough to acquire ASME QRO provisional license
• For Massachusetts facility, a 2nd Class Engineers license is required and ability to sit for 1st Class Engineers license

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise operations staff to ensure the facility is operating and maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient manner
• Enforce safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
• Train shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use
• Assist in developing operational strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Provide reports and operate CMMS to manage maintenance and procedures
