Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations seeks an Operations Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the facility. The role reports to the Operations/Plant Manager and emphasizes adherence to safety, environmental standards, and corporate policies.

You will train staff, implement procedures, and coordinate with management on strategies to improve reliability, efficiency, and compliance. The position is full-time and on-site at a MA facility, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years of supervisor experience in power plant or manufacturing is required.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance and control of a steam generating power plant.
• Proficiency in using safety equipment including OSHA PPE.
• Licenses as required by regulatory agencies must be maintained.
• Massachusetts facilities require a 2nd Class Engineer license and eligibility for a 1st Class license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise operations staff to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation of the facility.
• Enforce company policies, environmental compliance, and safety requirements.
• Train shift personnel in safety, equipment use, and procedures.
• Develop operational strategies to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain plant operating data and procedures.
• Serve as management representative when upper management is off-site.
