Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in materials management, perioperative services, or ambulatory surgery center operations preferred
• Prior operating room experience preferred
• Knowledge of surgical supplies, implants, inventory systems, and purchasing processes
• Understanding of sterile processing and OR workflow
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills
• Ability to analyze pricing and purchasing trends
• Excellent communication and problem- solving skills
• Computer proficiency including inventory and purchasing
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff supply requests and maintain accurate inventory across departments
• Track implant inventory, expiration dates, lot numbers, and required documentation
• Process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries
• Resolve discrepancies, backorders, damaged goods, or invoicing issues
• Support cost containment and pricing analyses to optimize procurement
