Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Materials Manager to plan, procure, and sometimes distribute supplies, equipment, and services for their surgical centers. You will support value analysis activities and assist AP with invoice reconciliation, acting as a liaison between site Materials Managers and corporate Materials Manager.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; AS degree preferred.
• Three to four years experience in medical materials management or one to two years as OR materials management.
• Background in Surgical Setting considered.
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Surgical Specialties and their prospective equipment & supply needs.
• Product prioritization and management, keeping number of similar items to a minimum.
• Maintain inventory levels to provide good asset turnover.
• Manage the center staff’s management of supplier’s relationships and agreements.
• Knowledge of Packaging, Transport, Health & Safety regulatory guidelines and compliance to ensure facility compliance.
• Assist in Inventory updating and Standardization.
