Job summary

Arclin in Richmond, VA seeks an Operations Leader to own assets, processes and safety culture for plant and corporate initiatives. You will partner with the Production Leader to drive safety, reliability and environmental performance while coaching teams to excel.

Responsibilities include ensuring Life Saving Rules, reviewing permits, budgeting for safety improvements, and developing operator training. The role requires strong engineering background and leadership to improve margins and EBITDA.

Qualifications

• BS engineering discipline or equivalent experience required.
• 5-10 years of manufacturing or related experience required.
• Line of business experience preferred (Kevlar/Tyvek/Nomex).
• Process Safety Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, process safety and environmental improvement plans with the Production Leader.
• Pursue maximum plant reliability and reduce unplanned events.
• Ensure Life Saving Rules are applied; coach field teams.
• Review work permits to ensure Life Saving Rules are followed.
• Allocate capital for environmental compliance and safety improvements.
• Lead and mentor operators; maintain plant training program.
• Develop operations staff through goal-setting and performance management.
• Collaborate with HR for operator onboarding and development.
• Represent the operation in achieving EBITDA and margin goals.
