Job summary

Arclin is seeking a Plant Operations Leader in the Richmond area to own assets, processes, and goals for plant initiatives. You will drive safety culture, reliability, and environmental compliance while leading cross-functional teams to achieve results.

You will serve as a back-up to the Production Leader and model company values in daily decisions. The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5–10 years in manufacturing, and experience with process safety.

Qualifications

• BS engineering discipline or equivalent experience required
• 5-10 years of manufacturing or related experience required
• Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process) experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Production Leader to drive a strong personal safety, process safety, and environmental improvement plan to achieve EH&S goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Relentlessly pursue maximum plant reliability to reduce unplanned events and support safe operations.
• Coach and mentor operators and shift teams to reinforce Life Saving Rules and safe work practices in the field.
• Ensure technical review of work permits and maintenance plans to apply Life Saving Rules appropriately.
• Allocate capital for environmental compliance improvements and controls for safe, reliable operation.
• Maintain field presence to assess activities and respond to deviations with timely follow-up and investigations.
