Job summary

Arclin, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager I for our Albany, GA facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead the manufacturing department and drive safe, cost-effective operation in alignment with company goals.

You will plan, organize and direct production activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet targets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of direct management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred.
• Proven track record delivering 1-3 LSS projects to closure annually.
• Strong leadership, communication and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the Manufacturing department.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to optimize use of materials, labor and equipment to meet targets.
• Coordinate production shutdowns/startups for maintenance as needed.
• Achieve objectives within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Identify safety concerns, report incidents, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver cost savings plans to achieve annual goals.
• Provide performance management support for direct reports.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to align project plans and progress.
