Qualifications

• BS engineering discipline or equivalent experience required.
• 5-10 years of manufacturing or related experience required.
• Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the Production Leader to drive a strong safety, process safety, and environmental improvement plan to meet EH&S goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Relentlessly pursues maximum plant reliability to reduce unplanned events and support safe operations; coaches behaviors to support reliable operations.
• Demonstrates Life Saving Rules in the field and provides reinforcement and investigations as needed.
• Ensures technical review of work permits and plans to apply Life Saving Rules correctly.
• Allocates capital to design improvements for environmental compliance and safety; implements controls for safe operation.
• Shows courageous leadership by coaching, asking questions, and intervening when needed to improve safety and effectiveness.
