Graham Packaging, a leader in sustainable packaging manufacturing, seeks a Plant Manager in Fremont, OH to oversee day-to-day operations, safety, quality, and efficiency. You will direct staff, manage production planning, and optimize resources to meet customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and several years of manufacturing leadership, with experience in process improvement methods such as Six Sigma/Lean.

Qualificações

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary service.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions and routines.

Responsabilidades

• Understand, follow and enforce safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Lead plant safety initiatives through training programs, meetings and audits.
• Lead plant quality initiatives including corrective actions and audits.
• Manage selection, training and development of shift and staff personnel to meet goals.
• Review operating statements and control costs within budgetary standards.
• Develop and maintain relations with customers to identify improvements and reduce costs.
• Drive continuous improvement plans across cross-functional departments.
• Oversee production planning to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to maximize plant utilization.
• Act as Plant’s Project Manager on equipment and molds.
