Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Missouri is seeking a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, safety, quality, and customer service, ensuring efficient resource use and productive teams.

You will oversee safety and quality initiatives, manage budgets, train staff, coordinate with sales and service, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma practices. Travel up to 25% may be required. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in operations leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plant management experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in an operations supervisory or management role in manufacturing.
• Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follows and enforces safety, health, quality, GMP and company policies.
• Lead plant safety initiatives and training programs.
• Lead plant quality initiatives and corrective actions.
• Select, train and develop shift and staff personnel.
• Review operating statements and manage costs within budget.
• Maintain relations with customers and identify improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement plans using OE tools.
• Oversee production planning and plant facilities utilization.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service as needed.
• May handle special projects and travel up to 25%.
