Job summary

Graham Packaging seeks a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, directing safety, quality, and efficiency across the plant. You will drive improvements, manage budgets, and develop staff to meet performance targets.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety culture and customer satisfaction. This position may involve coordination with cross-functional teams and adherence to GMP practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related plant management experience required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in an operations supervisory or management role.
• Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Kaizen experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, and customer service.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost management across plant operations.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives including training, audits and corrective actions.
• Develop staff and manage shift personnel to meet organizational goals.
• Coordinate production planning and plant budgeting within approved guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to maximize plant utilization.
