Job summary

Graham Packaging seeks a Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality and efficient utilization of resources across the plant. You will direct personnel, drive cost control and maintain strong customer relations while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or related management experience, 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, and familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean or Kaizen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related plant management experience.
• Minimum five years in an operations supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Kaizen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follows and enforces safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Lead plant safety initiatives and training programs.
• Lead plant quality initiatives including corrective actions and audits.
• Manage shift and staff development to attain organizational goals.
• Review operating statements and control costs within budget.
