Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the plant in Ohio. The role emphasizes leading safety initiatives and driving continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or related plant management experience with 5+ years in operations supervision, and preferably Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen experience. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related plant management experience required.
• Minimum five years in operations supervisory/management in manufacturing; leadership skills strongly preferred.
• Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead plant safety initiatives including training programs and safety audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reductions with cross-functional teams.
• Manage production planning and inventory to meet customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and support new product qualifications.
