Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related quality experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and quality experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a quality supervisory or management role in manufacturing with demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow and enforce safety, health, GMP, and company policies.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate into manufacturing specs.
• Monitor customer complaints and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Define and implement systems to ensure GMPs, certifications, sanitation, and audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service as needed.
• Work with suppliers to define and meet customer and plant requirements.
• Develop operating procedures and controls for inspection devices.
• Establish process controls and drive defect elimination improvements.
• Communicate plant quality performance to management and staff.
• Hire, train, and direct daily quality staff activities.
• Continuously evaluate procedures to improve safety and efficiency.
• May lead special projects in other areas and may travel 0-25%.
