Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks an Area Operations Manager for the PA area. You will lead day-to-day operations of the Handling & Filling plant, coordinating production, inventory, and quality to meet customer needs. You will mentor staff, drive safety, and help optimize budgets and processes.

The role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and collaboration with procurement and maintenance to sustain reliable, compliant production.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• College degree in supply chain management or logistics management or related field desired.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution operation.
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a distribution environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support day-to-day operations of the Handling & Filling plant.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet customer needs and balance resources.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain to manage inventory levels.
• Maintain and elevate quality standards and conduct regular quality reviews.
• Mentor and develop a diverse team, conduct performance evaluations.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and manage resources for financial success.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
