Airgas is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead plant facilities across multiple jurisdictions (Atlanta, GA area with other sites) and drive operational performance, safety, and cost efficiency. You will guide plant managers, coordinate capital projects, manage budgets, and promote continuous improvement across the cylinder supply chain.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel ~60% with occasional overnight stays.
• Familiarity with ROI, P&L, and finance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Plant Managers and teams to meet Area/Regional goals.
• Analyze KPIs, labor, overtime, and cost benchmarks to optimize operations.
• Coordinate safety, training, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develop SOPs and drive continuous improvement across cylinders supply chain.
• Communicate progress and issues to VP Operations and stakeholders.
