Strong knowledge of production planning, labor relations, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

Directs manufacture and assembly at optimal costs while meeting quality and delivery standards.
Manages schedules to meet delivery dates with minimal WIP and efficient use of resources.
Develops cost, scrap, and rework reduction programs to improve EBIT.
Oversees maintenance, facilities, and plant security.
Participates in personnel policies and labor relations, including union negotiations where applicable.
Coordinates manufacturing schedules with sales requirements and plant capacity.
