Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all shop floor operations in Storm Lake, IA. You will drive production efficiency, quality, and timely shipping while maximizing EBIT.

The role requires leadership across manufacturing, scheduling, maintenance and engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 10+ years in manufacturing with 4+ years in a supervisory capacity, and strong cost control, planning and personnel-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business Management or Industrial Management.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience with at least 4 years in a senior supervisory capacity.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods, planning, labor relations, and cost control.
• Proven ability to assess, develop and manage personnel.
• Strong communication, motivation and leadership across levels.
• Analytical and critical thinking with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• PC literate and proficient with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Directs manufacture and assembly at optimum costs with quality standards.
• Manages scheduling to meet delivery dates with minimal WIP.
• Implements cost, scrap, rework reduction programs to improve EBIT.
• Controls production costs, inventory, shipping and receiving via subordinates.
• Directs capital equipment and facilities investments.
• Oversees maintenance, safety and plant security.
• Engages in personnel policy execution including hiring and promotions.
• Ensures safety and environmental compliance across plant operations.
