Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial management and 10+ years in manufacturing, including 4+ years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or Industrial Management.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods, production planning, and cost controls.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs manufacture and assembly at optimum costs with quality and performance standards.
• Meets delivery dates with minimal WIP and efficient use of resources.
• Implements cost, scrap, rework programs to improve EBIT.
• Controls quality, cost, inventory, shipping and receiving.
• Sets plant policies and supervises their application in operations.
• Coordinates schedules based on sales and plant capacity.
• Ensures materials availability for optimum efficiency.
• Discusses methods and standards with staff and teams.
• Reviews and approves machinery/equipment purchases.
• Oversees maintenance, security and facility protection.
• Participates in labor relations and personnel policies as needed.
• Develops/promotes personnel performance, hiring and promotions decisions.
• Supports company communications and policy implementation.
• Ensures safety and environmental compliance across operations.

Education
