Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Industrial Management.
• 10+ years’ manufacturing experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods, production planning, labor relations, and standard cost controls.
• Demonstrable skills in assessing, utilizing and developing personnel.
• Ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and lead at all levels.
• Superior analytical and critical thinking abilities, ability to balance multiple events and priorities, set and govern direction.
• Must be PC literate and able to create and utilize various spreadsheet programs.

Aufgaben

• Directs the manufacture and assembly of products at the most optimum costs consistent with prescribed quality, accuracy and performance standards.
• Operates and manages to meet scheduled delivery dates with minimum WIP, ensuring products align with resources.
• Develops and maintains cost, scrap, rework and extra work reduction programs to improve EBIT.
• Controls quality, cost of production, inventory, shipping and receiving through subordinates.
• Determines plant policies and directs application to manufacturing operations.
• Coordinates execution of schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
• Ensures availability of raw materials and supplies for optimum efficiencies.
• Confers with subordinates and plant personnel on methods and production standards.
• Reviews and approves recommendations for machinery, equipment and capital projects.
• Oversees maintenance of buildings, machinery, equipment, and plant security.
• Participates in personnel policies and labor relations, including union negotiations where applicable.
• Develops/reviews recommendations on personnel hiring/promotions/demotions/terminations and rate changes.
• Supports company communication policy and directs directives to the shop floor.
• Ensures safety and environmental compliance across all plant operations.
