Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Ready Mix Plant Manager to oversee operations in the Pompano Beach area. You will supervise drivers and plant staff, coordinate job sites, and manage materials and plant performance to deliver consistent batch quality.

The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and cost-control skills, with the ability to adapt to site demands and regulatory guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb conveyor belts.
• Must be DOT certified to manufacture concrete and concrete products.
• Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
• High school degree or equivalent; some technical/education preferred.
• 3 years’ experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly workforce, including hiring, directing, training, counseling, and discipline as necessary.
• Conduct hourly employee performance reviews.
• Maintain plant housekeeping, environmental and safety policy to comply with regulations.
• Control and minimize plant costs while ensuring quality product.
• Measure and manage raw material inventories and order as needed for ongoing operations.
• Understand automated batch plant operation, Ginco batch interface, and control parameters.
• Provide preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.
