Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Plant Operations Assistant in Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time role supports maintenance operations, assists with equipment service, and helps ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

The position requires physical activity, HVAC knowledge, and experience in multi-unit maintenance, with potential supervisory duties and a daily 7:00am–3:00pm shift.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be 18 years or older.
• HVAC certification and experience are highly recommended.
• Thorough knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, refurbishing.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multi-unit property with supervisory duties.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift/move items over 50 pounds.
• Active, indoor/outdoor work in varying weather; ladder use required.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Health screening within 6 months prior to employment.
• Clean driving record per insurer policy.
• Senior housing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Operations Director to maintain all community areas and service equipment.
• Respond quickly to repair requests and document progress/completion.
• Maintain safety for employees, guests, and residents and address hazards or emergencies.
