Job summary

Arrow Senior Living is hosting a part-time Plant Operations Assistant position at Hudson Grande, 5400 Darrow Rd, Hudson, OH 44236. The role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:15pm, with duties spanning maintenance, equipment servicing, and safety oversight to support residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have HVAC familiarity, are physically capable, and will assist in keeping all community areas well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HVAC certification and experience recommended.
• Knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, flooring; landscaping a plus.
• At least 2 years in apartment or multi-unit maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Active indoors and outdoors, with ladder use and variable weather.
• Criminal clearance and health screening within 6 months; TB test required.
• Experience in senior housing and OSHA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Operations Director in maintaining all areas of the community and servicing equipment and tools.
• Rapidly respond to repair and maintenance requests and document progress and completion.
• Maintain safety of employees, guests, and residents, addressing hazards and emergencies.
