Job summary

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Plant Operations Assistant for its Hudson Grande community in Hudson, OH. This part-time role supports the Plant Operations Director with maintenance of all areas and equipment, customer service, and safety.

The position requires at least 18 years old, HVAC certification preferred, and two years of multi-unit maintenance with supervisory experience. Lifting up to 50 pounds and outdoor/indoor work are common aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• HVAC certification and experience highly recommended.
• Knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, and floor/carpet care.
• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-unit housing with supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Active outdoors inside/outside work in varying weather.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Experience in senior housing preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the community and service equipment.
• Rapidly respond to repair requests and document progress and completion.
• Keep the safety of employees, guests, and residents at top of mind.
