Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Production Supervisor in Florida to lead a production team, ensuring efficient, safe operations and achievement of manufacturing goals. You will train staff, plan workloads, and enforce 5S and quality standards across shifts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and proficiency with standard office software. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years lead supervisory experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
• Manufacturing supervisory experience with large groups of people.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Computer literate; able to create visual aids; proficient in Word, Spreadsheet, Lotus email systems.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team and ensure profitable, efficient operations.
• Train, plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance.
• Ensure safety compliance and 5S, quality at the source.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering for repairs.
• Support JCMS and HPT activities and communicate with teams.
