Job summary

Camaco LLC is seeking a Plant Superintendent to oversee all aspects of plant operations on the floor and in the office. You will lead a multi-shift production team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with corporate policies and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing management and 6+ years of automotive manufacturing experience, plus strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing management or related field; 6+ years of experience; automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the plant operations and supervises workers across all shifts.
  • Coordinate production with maintenance and quality to optimize resources.
  • Maintain corporate policies and manage headcount within budget and sales targets.
  • Train employees, assign and direct work, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary issues.
  • Revise production schedules due to equipment failures or operating problems.
  • Collaborate with engineering on machine modifications and new lines for quality improvements.
  • Apply lean manufacturing / Kaizen principles to support operations.
  • Serve as off-shift contact for customer concerns.
