Job summary

Camaco LLC is seeking a Press Room Supervisor to oversee daily operations across shifts at our automotive manufacturing facility. You will lead a team, assign work, and communicate priorities to ensure safe, efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training tracking in Workday, maintaining production reports, guiding machine set-ups, and coordinating with maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. Years of experience may substitute for lack of formal education.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably within press operations.
  • Experience with progressive stamping presses and die setting preferred.
  • Previous leadership or team leader experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee press room operations across assigned shifts.
  • Lead a group of employees and communicate production priorities.
  • Manage daily workforce scheduling and staffing for both shifts.
  • Maintain training matrix and certifications.
  • Maintain production reporting and startup documentation.
  • Train employees in procedures and safe operation.
  • Assist in machine set-ups and die changes; support troubleshooting.
  • Maintain quality standards with first/last piece checks.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and coordinate with maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement and safety compliance.
  • Maintain housekeeping and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
