Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas in the United States is seeking an ASU Assistant Plant Manager to oversee safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operation of a production facility. You will coordinate 24/7 ROC activities, plan daily production, and manage resources, training, and payroll for staff and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 7–9 years in engineering/manufacturing within the industrial air separation sector, with a related bachelor's or associate degree.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an industrial field plus 10 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with preference for Reliability Maintenance, Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• On-Call duties to cover for vacation, illness and other absences.
• Lead safety culture and risk assessment to reduce incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas.
• Daily production planning, logistics coordination, and plant operational efficiency.
• Schedule resources, train staff, manage performance, payroll, and contractor relations.
• Calibrate and maintain process equipment and analyzers; manage MAPS records.
• Assist startups/shutdowns safely and efficiently; pursue opportunities for improvements.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead SIP and TRW optimization projects; contribute to local quality management and audits.
