Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking ASU Plant Operators to perform start-up and shut-down activities, preventative and corrective maintenance, and interface with control systems to meet production demands.

Operators work rotating shifts, maximize efficiencies, and ensure safety in the operation of air separation units for pipeline and merchant customers. FDA/OSHA/compliance records and QA documentation are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Experience operating air separation controls.
• Ability to interpret Process & Instrument Drawings.
• Keen understanding of plant safety and procedures.
• Strong attention to record-keeping and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Manipulates air separation controls to meet product specs and production needs.
• Adjusts plant variables and monitors equipment to achieve goals.
• Troubleshoot upsets and take corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain production and distribution records for QA and regulatory needs.
• Work with team to ensure safe start-up/shut-down and operations.
