Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is hiring a Control Room Operator in Preston, CT to execute start-up/shutdown procedures and ensure the facility meets safety and environmental commitments. You will guide crane and back-plant operators and monitor systems to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Monitor plant operations systems and equipment operations (boiler, turbine, auxiliary).
• Read blueprints, P&ID’s and schematics to troubleshoot.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies.
• Respond to operational alarms and take corrective action.
• Support safety and operational goals through sound decisions.
