Job summary

Wyman-Gordon in Worcester, MA seeks a Plant Manager to lead all aspects of operations, safety, quality, and financial performance at the facility. The role requires steering capital projects and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in metal manufacturing, with 5+ years in multi-discipline management and proven P&L accountability. Relocation is available and a strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• MBA with B.S./B.A. in engineering preferred.
• Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience, preferably capital-intensive metal forming/manufacturing operations.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role with P/L responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple manufacturing disciplines (Operations, Maintenance, Quality).

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety policies and drives a safety-conscious culture.
• Coordinate and manage a full set of production and production-support activities.
• Work with Materials Management, Quality, Metallurgy, and other key staff.
• Have full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for Worcester Operations.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement toward corporate goals.
• Control costs and manage budget attainment.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with Union leadership.
• Lead capital planning efforts supporting manufacturing.
