Job summary

Wyman Gordon, located in Worcester, MA, seeks a Plant Manager responsible for all aspects of plant performance, safety, cost control, and capital planning. This role reports to the V.P./GM and will drive continuous improvement and Union collaboration to meet corporate goals.

Ideal candidate has MBA + engineering background, 10+ years manufacturing experience, and 5+ years in a managerial role with P/L responsibility, leading multiple manufacturing disciplines.

Qualifications

• MBA, with B.S./B.A. (engineering discipline preferred) and/or extensive related work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience, preferably with capital intense metal forming/manufacturing operations.
• At least 5 years at managerial responsibility with P/L responsibility
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple manufacturing disciplines (Operations, Maintenance, Quality, etc.)

• Enforces all safety policies and procedures with team members. Drive a safety conscience culture.
• Coordinate and manage a full complement of production and production support activities.
• Manage and work with key staff positions: Materials Management, Quality, Metallurgy, etc.
• Full P&L, balance sheet responsibility for Worcester Operations.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement in the attainment of corporate goals.
• Responsible for cost control and budget attainment.
• Establish working effective relationship with Union leadership.
• Establish and execute capital planning efforts supporting manufacturing

Wyman-Gordon, located in Worcester, MA, provides Isothermal Forgings for military and commercial turbine applications using nickel based and titanium alloys. Full Heat Treating, Machining and Testing on site. This growing, $200 million profit center is part of a highly successful, multi-billion diversified manufacturer. Reporting to the V.P./GM, the Plant Manager will be accountable for all aspects of plant performance and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective and measurable manner that's consistent with safety & quality requirements.

Relocation

Relocation is authorized for this position.

For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $170000 to $180000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 30% of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company's performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

The position will be eligible to participate in the Company's Long-Term Incentive Program
