The role requires directing back-end manufacturing functions, implementing safety initiatives, and optimizing processes to meet daily to quarterly targets. Strong leadership and lean experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy manufacturing with a track record of bottom line improvements.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teambuilding abilities.
• Lean manufacturing experience and knowledge of performance metrics (P&L).
• Experience with the Theory of Constraints (TOC).
• Self-motivated and achievement oriented; able to hold roles accountable.

Responsibilities

• Directs all back-end manufacturing functions.
• Drive safety initiatives to prevent accidents and lower DART Rate.
• Generate and execute plans to reduce overall costs.
• Develop strategies to meet daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met throughout the process.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processing and manufacturing methodologies.
• Respond to operational constraints with corrective actions.
• Drive the PCC Toolbox implementation.
• Foster positive employee relations with open communication.
